I know in relationships of romantic love things can be screwed up and there can be unrequited love but there’s a difference between deciding not to feel romantic affection toward someone and telling yourself not to love them anymore. You’re affection might have been a waste, but never think of love as a waste.

But really, where did this idea of “wasted love” come from? There’s not enough love in this world to allow us to decide we need to limit our love for others, or dismiss anyone else’s. I know it’s sappy and cliched but love is just so, so important; it needs to be shared.
